Finally, patchouli, incense, suede, and white musk make up the base. Madame Alix Gres was born in Paris, France, and at the start of her career, she aspired to be a sculptor. She developed a passion for hat-making as a result of this. This enabled her to launch her own brand house, Alex Couture, in 1934. She went on to design luxurious gowns, and her style quickly became synonymous with luxury. She would go on to design clothing for members of the aristocracy and royal families. Throughout World War II, she continued to manufacture her own garments, and after the war, she became interested in perfumery and founded Parfums Gres.
