Yves Saint Laurent’s Black Opium Floral Shock is a women’s floral fruity gourmand fragrance with white floral, citrus, and fruity primary accords that was released in 2017. It comes in the same dark, square flacon as the original Black Opium perfume, but with fading black sparkles that reveal pink. Bergamot, lemon, pear, and freesia are the top notes. Gardenia, orange blossom, white flowers, and solar notes are in the middle. The base notes of coffee, white musk, and amberwood add depth and stability. This fragrance was created in collaboration with notable perfumers Honorine Blanc, Olivier Cresp, Nathalie Lorson, and Marie Salmagne, and has a delicate sillage and moderate duration for fall, winter, and spring wear.
Every 30ml bottle of Black Opium Floral Shock EDP Spray by Yves Saint Laurent contains ethyl acetate, Water, benzaldehyde, camphor, methylene chloride, and limonene. Triethyl citrate, Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Limonene, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl, benzyl alcohol, acetone, linalool, ethanol.
