Tom Ford Noir Cologne is a Tom Ford fragrance that was first released in 2012. Italian bergamot, verbena, caraway, pink pepper, and violet flower are among the top notes. Black pepper, nutmeg, Tuscan Iris resin, Egyptian geranium, Bulgarian rose, and clary sage are at the heart of the aroma. Opoponax, amber, Indonesian patchouli, vetiver, civet, and vanilla round out the scent. In 2005, Thomas Carlyle Ford established his own corporation. Tom Ford is most known for his design and fragrance work, but he also dabbled in the film industry in 2009 with his film A Single Man, which received positive reviews from both fans and critics. Ford studied architecture at Parsons School of Design and was not initially interested in the fashion sector; but, after an internship overseas, he discovered his passion for the industry and proceeded to pursue it with great success. He began his career by working for Cathy Hardwick and then Perry Ellis before initiating a marketing campaign for Yves Saint Laurent when the brand was acquired by Gucci.
