Original Santal is a distinctive men’s aroma entrenched in the history of generations of perfumery, according to Creed. This aroma pays respect to the spiritual richness and imperial magnificence of India and was created by sixth-generation head Olivier Creed and his son, Erwin Creed, who will one day lead this luxury perfume dynasty. The focus of this smell, as the name suggests, is beautiful sandalwood, around which the other ingredients delicately dance. Indian sandalwood, coriander, cinnamon, and juniper berries are the top notes that bring immediate satisfaction. Middle notes of ginger, lavender, rosemary, and absolute orange tree leaves continue the olfactory trip. A lingering, delicious finish is provided by the warm vanilla and tonka bean basis. Creed, a Paris-based design business, was established in London in 1760. In 1781, King George III gave this perfumery firm its first royal commission, for whom it manufactured Royal English Leather. Creed relocated to Paris in 1854 at the request of France’s Empress Eugenie, after gaining numerous royal patrons throughout Europe. In 2005, this trendy masculine fragrance was released.
