Issey Miyake’s L’eau D’issey Pour Homme Sport Cologne is a woody aromatic cologne for men created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier in 2012. The predominant accords are citrus, woody, fresh peppery, fragrant, and leather. The fragrance begins with grapefruit and bergamot citrus top notes, followed by leather and nutmeg centre notes. The composition is finished with vetiver, Virginia cedar, and ambergris base notes. This smell is perfect for spring and summer day use due to its mild duration and sillage. Miyake Design House was founded in 1970 in Tokyo, Japan, by fashion designer Issey Miyake. He is noted for his early avant-garde designs that fuse Japanese techniques and materials with Western technology, as well as inventing a novel pleating procedure that can be used on clothes that have already been cut and sewed. Despite retiring from active design in 1997, he still manages his brand, which now includes at least twelve product lines. Through its cooperation with Shiseido, the brand has continued to produce new scents since its debut launch in 1992.
