It’s a composition that leaves a forceful and noble trail in its wake, even using the French word for “wild” in its name. Top notes of pepper and Calabrian bergamot are followed by a smorgasbord of heart notes including patchouli, geranium, vetiver, lavender, pink pepper, Sichuan pepper, and elemi. Its base notes are cedar, labdanum, and ambroxan, which are warm and woody. Francois Demachy created this masterpiece as a salute to nature, employing rare and rich components that are particularly cultivated for this smell.
